My grandparents came to visit, from Utah so my sister Julie (my twin sister for those of you who don’t know) and I decided to venture out to the San Antonio Zoo. This is not a small task. Julie’s children are 18 months and 3 months, and Malcolm is almost six weeks old. We took advantage of the extra hands we had, my grandparents and my mom. We loaded up three strollers ( Julie doesn’t have a double stroller yet) and headed out. This was Malcolm’s first offical trip. Needless to say, we all enjoyed it more than him! Enjoy the pictures.
As most of you know, our little Malcolm is due very soon. If he does not come by Thursday night, we are headed into the hospital to be induced. Apparently our baby is BIG , and needs to come out! Both Johnny and I have scoffed about our many friends being married on this date,8-8-08, but now we are hypocrites! Malcolm will forever be reminded, ” Wasn’t that the first day of the Olympic games in China?” We are both very excited. If you are interested, leave your guess as to the height and weight.
I have been horrified beyond the horrors that the Cap’n Crunch Malt could ever bring to me. I have been researching different ways to organize recipes for a new section of the web site. I came across the wiki cookbook. You have to see this to believe it. I have seen it and I still don’t believe anyone has ever consumed this. If you are brave and do this, please send a report and pictures.
As promised, we finally got up some pictures of our belly.
Look here.
Everyone knows the best thing about the western United States is Carl’s Jr. On our latest trip we ate at Carl’s Jr. on average once a day. I have never been so repulsed as I was on this last trip when we pulled up to Carl’s Jr. for the first time. The Cap’n and the guy who came up with this idea should be in line at the unemployment office for this.

To my eternal shame I never got the guts to try one. The world may never know how terrible a malt could be.
As many of you know, the site has switched to a new hosting provider. Unfortunately all the old posts have probably been lost forever. This coincides with the anniversary of the site, so luckily we have the framework of the new site almost ready.
The new site Is designed to be easier to navigate. The biggest difference is the new and improved photo gallery software. The quantity of pictures should be down, but the quality should be way up. Each photo will have a short description of the image and/or the situation the picture was taken. You can vote for how well you like the image and you can comment on each image.
This space will continue to get updates and I will link to any new galleries. Welcome to the new site.
